I bought this old reel off the ‘bay:
There were a bunch of things wrong with it, and it needed a bunch of parts. The foot had been cut, someone ran an incorrect side plate screw, and stripped the hole, bad repaint, but, all the things that make a C model were there. I don’t think the seller realized, or, cared that it was a C.
The body was repainted, the head and sideplate are NOS. It is a looker, now.
