Avoiding any biases, are any useable design?

Uhh, I hope fishing users of these reels are at least in Group 4, or is there a Group 5? Some of us want a reliable source for answering questions so we can keep using this stuff. I’d be concerned about warping if not melting the metal. Keep in mind internal to the frame in these reels is a half sleeve of steel, which expands differently than aluminum when heated. Glad it worked though.
