I have BOXES and BOXES of Old Mitchell reels.

So is CAP derived from La Canne a' Peche ? Trying to understand.

Dumb question, and I did search Google, thus finding this place.

What does CAP stand for?

I bought some old fishing gear and there must be 25-35 vintage Mitchell reels in a few boxes. I may try to repair a few. Thx and sorry to step on the OP’s toes by posting this here.
