There were three different ones - which one are you referring to.

Then . The three were written in different periods of collecting. Knowledge was gained and contributed. All of Dennis' books are significant contributions to Mitchell Collectors so why don't you buy them all and make your own determination?

jjb316TOES,
The Robert's books are well respected and highly sought after, thus they are expensive. You can't beat Wallace Carney's book "The Mitchell Classic 300 Spinning Reel: 1939-1989" if it's just the Mitchell 300 that you are interested in.

Ted Lanham

TOES,
We are not offended just needed to know what information you wanted about his books. Yes, they can be expensive but well worth the cost. Nothing to do with rebuilding or researching the 300 as Wallace's Book. Dennis's books covers the Mitchell spectrum of reels made. Obviously not all can be accounted for as new variations come to light. That's what helps drive our passion. Good luck in your quest. Those books or references are out there but command a premium.

Re: Mitchell Collectors Ref. by Dennis Roberts
I have found that asking a specific question helps and photo's if possible.
Not home retired and fishing! Or playing with my Mitchell's!

Sandman is the guy! We both love them.
Actually the questions should be asked in either Mitchell reel talk or Mitchell reel service talk .
