308 Sideplate C-Clip Install-How To?

How do you install a NOS C-Clip on the 308 side-plate screw?

Those "C" clips are designed to just push on. I use a flathead screwdriver but if you want to ensure no scratching use a flat piece of hard plastic. Place your thumb over the top so when it slips off it doesn't fly away.
